Refund Policy

We strive to make every transaction smooth. Please review our refund policy to understand your rights and our obligations regarding fees paid to Telsense.

1. General Principle

All fees paid to Telsense for domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and add-on services are generally non-refundable once the transaction has been submitted to the relevant domain registry or service provider. This is because Telsense incurs immediate registry costs that cannot be recovered. However, we provide specific refund windows as outlined below.

2. New Domain Registrations

New domain registrations are eligible for a full refund within 5 calendar days of registration, provided the domain has not been used in connection with a website, email service, or any other active service.

Refund requests must be submitted via your account dashboard or by contacting billing@telsense.com. Upon approval, the domain will be deleted from the registry and released. Please note that certain TLDs (e.g., .io, .co, country-code TLDs) may not support refunds due to registry policies, and no refund will be issued in those cases.

After the 5-day window, no refund will be issued for new domain registrations.

3. Domain Renewals

Renewal fees are eligible for a full refund within 3 calendar days of the renewal date. Auto-renewal charges are eligible for a refund within 7 calendar days if you did not intend to renew and have not used the domain in the renewed period.

To request a renewal refund, contact billing@telsense.com with your order number and reason. If approved, the domain will be reverted to its pre-renewal expiry date and may become available for registration by others.

4. Domain Transfers

Transfer fees are non-refundable once a transfer has been successfully completed and the domain has moved to Telsense. If a transfer fails due to a registry error or a Telsense system issue, you will receive a full refund within 5-10 business days. If a transfer fails because the domain was locked, the authorization code was incorrect, or the current registrar rejected the transfer, no refund will be issued as the registry fee has already been submitted.

5. Add-On Services

Refunds for add-on services (e.g., WHOIS Privacy Protection, SSL certificates, email hosting, DNS management plans) are handled as follows:

  • WHOIS Privacy Protection: Refundable within 14 days of purchase if no privacy features have been activated
  • SSL Certificates: Refundable within 30 days if the certificate has not been issued or activated
  • Email Hosting: Refundable on a pro-rated basis within 30 days if no emails have been sent or received
  • Managed DNS Plans: Refundable within 14 days if no custom DNS records have been created

6. Promotional and Discounted Purchases

Domains or services purchased at a promotional or discounted rate are eligible for refund only of the amount actually paid, not the standard retail price. Promotional credits, coupon codes, and loyalty rewards are non-refundable and non-transferable.

7. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback with your financial institution without first contacting Telsense to resolve the issue constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension, domain transfer restrictions, and a ban from future services. Please contact billing@telsense.com before disputing any charge.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Telsense reserves the right to apply refunds as account credits at its discretion. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or card issuer.

9. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Log in to your Telsense account dashboard
  2. Navigate to Billing > Order History
  3. Select the relevant order and click "Request Refund"
  4. Alternatively, email billing@telsense.com with your order number, domain name, and reason for the request

Our billing team will respond within 2 business days. We reserve the right to deny refund requests that do not meet the conditions outlined in this policy.
